The RUSH Program
Rush immunotherapy (allergy shots) is an accelerated or “rush” version of the standard allergy shot schedule. The RUSH can dramatically reduce the number of allergy shot visits during the build-up phase and not only can the RUSH help you get relief sooner it can also decrease your overall treatment by 4-6 months!
RUSH typically involves a scheduled appointment to receive 4 to 6 sequential injections 30-minutes apart. If you and your provider decide the RUSH program is right for you then plan on making arrangements to be with us for about 4-5 hours each time you “RUSH.”
Patients remain under observation during their RUSH appointments.
RUSH offers patients:
The option to accelerating their shot schedule
shortening the time to a maintenance schedule
reduce the number of visits to the office
the flexibility to choose what’s best for them
And best of all… The Allergy & Asthma Group has designed a room to cater specifically to our “RUSH” patients.
We offer:
FREE Wii-fi
Flat screen TV
And comfortable reclining seating
This allows you to catch up on work, surf the net or just enjoy some relaxation during your treatment, after all we know YOUR time is valuable!
Our clinical staff will go over the specific details once you and your provider have decided The RUSH program is right for you!
